Robert Bradshaw Quebman III, 53, passed away July 5, 2019, at his residence outside of Athens, Ohio.

He was born Nov. 11, 1965. Rob was a well known musician all around Ohio. He was a graduate of Miami of Ohio.

He is survived by a daughter, Aleda Grace (Gabe Carr) Quebman of Athens; two sons, Aaron (Keisha) Quebman of Cincinnati and Alex Harris of Columbus; his mother, Linda Dennis (Bill) Fulton of Cincinnati; two brothers, Brenden Greve and Brian (Angie) Quebman, both of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews.

Rob’s love of life was infectious, and his passing leaves so many of his friends without their biggest source of support and optimism. He was amazingly positive, and was generous beyond compare.

Rob, a skilled computer analyst and a Certified Public Accountant, was best known as a musician, traveling all over the state of Ohio playing in multiple bands, as well as developing quite a toe-tapping solo act. As a skilled guitarist, bassist, and saxophonist, his work with bands such as the Voodoo Birds and the Golden Ratio will live in legend.

“Q-Bert”, as he was nicknamed, was also so much fun with his varied interests in traveling, music, canoeing, kayaking, sports (especially Cincinnati teams such as the Reds and the Bengals,) Fantasy Football, Dungeons and Dragons, car repair, and being the best friend to his beautiful children and wide range of friends and fans. His communication style was so unique, in terms of its humor and tendency to always steer towards the best of any given situation. He had a welcoming presence and warm smile for everyone he encountered.

Robs passing leaves a void in our community that simply cannot be filled. He was well loved and will be missed by so many. Knowing him has provided us all with gifts and memories that will last our lifetimes.
