AAMP Board Member Steph poses with guitar teacher Landon Elliot
At Athens Artists Memorial Project, creativity is more than a pastime — it’s a lifeline. Recently, we had the honor of helping a remarkable young person named Miracle begin her journey into music, one guitar lesson at a time.
Finding Focus Through Music
Miracle has experienced more instability in her young life than most of us could imagine. Now in a more supportive home environment, she’s surrounded by family working hard to give her the foundation she deserves. Still, financial challenges make it difficult to pursue extracurricular activities that many take for granted.
But music has sparked something special in her.
She’s already borrowing an acoustic guitar and loves how it helps her focus and feel calm. Learning to play gives her a creative outlet — a chance to grow, express herself, and discover new confidence.
A Gift of Opportunity
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are funding 10 weeks of private guitar lessons with a local trained musician who specializes in helping young players find their rhythm.
With your help, Miracle now has:
-
A supportive guitar instructor
-
A healthy way to channel her energy
-
A new passion to build on week after week
She’s excited to keep progressing — and maybe even save up for her own guitar one day.
This Is What Your Support Makes Possible
Every dollar given to Athens Artists Memorial Project becomes a spark of opportunity for children and adults in our community who otherwise may not have access to the arts.
When you donate, you’re not just funding supplies or lessons — you’re helping someone find their voice.
