We are pleased to announce that we have donated $1,000 to the Athens County Independent to hire local artist, Chris Monday, to create a comic strip series called “Cornertown” for the newspaper.
The Athens County Independent is an independent, nonprofit, locally governed and operated news source for Athens County, established in 2022.
Chris Monday is a local writer and illustrator of comics, songwriter, and performance artist.
