The Athens Artists Project is proud to support local arts programs that give young people the chance to learn, grow, and shine — and right now, the Trimble Marching Band could use our community’s help.
Trimble’s marching band is growing, but their uniforms are not keeping pace. The band is fully supported by dedicated Band Boosters who cover all program costs, including uniforms and even the marching band director’s stipend this year, as the Trimble Local School District remains in Fiscal Emergency. Their goal is simple and powerful: to ensure every student can participate in band without families having to worry about financial barriers.
The Boosters are working to raise $20,000 to purchase 50 new uniforms for the 2026–2027 marching and competition season. To begin production, half of that cost is needed upfront — and students and volunteers are doing all the fundraising themselves. These uniforms aren’t just clothing; they represent pride, teamwork, and the ability for students to perform confidently and equally.
Any amount makes a difference. Your support helps ensure these young musicians have the resources they deserve and keeps a vital arts program alive in our community. Together, we can help the Trimble Marching Band march into the future with confidence and pride.
